I suggest adding a plane inside the light and creating an emitter material for that plane. I put an area light in the light and convert it to an emitter using the plugin Geometry tab button.I've got a table lamp in my scene. What if I want a spot light in it? What do I do?
I think so (but have not tried - so experiment for yourself).Also do lights work with ambient occlusion?
