I thought on the paid version you were able to get light to shine trhough glass? :?

Anywas I have some questions for the users and factory:

So this is what I came up with:

Image

I deleted the glass... :?

I am having some "issues" the textures do not seem to keep their original colors why? how is this adjusted?

Can you store materials in Octane to use them in another scene? This is a great time saver in my "industry"

Thanks.

The next beta will implement a custom implementation that is similar to MLT which allows for more efficient rendering of light through glass (and many other improvements.)

You can also save any material / texture / emission source as s "Macro" node that can be saved either to a local file or to the OctaneLive database.

There is also a new Hotpixel slider in the Camera Imager settings that allows the user to quickly eliminate fireflies in the render.

Octane need internet to start? Every time? Is that right?

What solution do you propose for people who have a production computer not connected?
