Just installed the free version of Octane for Blender. When I try to render all I get is a black screen if there is an object in the scene. If there is no objects I get the daylight environment.

I am rendering using GTX1080 and using the newest version from the forum.

Can we see a screenshot? Is your camera NOT inside the objects as you render?
