Is there Surface Picker ?
Is Octane for Blender has surface picker similiar to Octane Live Viewer from Cinema 4D or LightWave ?

I'm not aware of this feature. Maybe there is a secret shortcut or something.
The easiest way to select material is to select an object. It will automatically show a material that is assigned to it.

No, not yet. It would be really useful (you have the same in Octane for LightWave as well), especially when you have multiple materials assigned to the same mesh.SSmolak wrote:Is Octane for Blender has surface picker similiar to Octane Live Viewer from Cinema 4D or LightWave ?
I've asked for this as well, but it wasn't possible to implement it in Octane for Blender 2.79. Let's see if we can implement that in the Blender 2.8 version.
Right now all you can do is to select the mesh and go in edit mode, then select a polygon. The material used for it will be automatically selected.
Thanks!
