Hi,
I need to net render. I always succeed but not this time.
When I open netrender window I need to "steal" a node.. I don't know at it means. And When rendering It look like even slave is running ( and heating ) there is not a gain in performence vs master alone.
Any idea ? argh i'm in a hurry
net render problem help !

ok. if somebody can confirm "steal" was because I have 2 max instances opened ?
If somebody can help with slave calculating but no speed gain. I checked firewall authorizations, no avast here,... what else ?

It shows the "steal" option because it thinks some other process is currently using those nodes. It should list which process is using them under the "Master" section.
If you are running multiple instances on one machine, I can see where that could lead to confusion and might cause some odd behavior. I suggest you go to each running instance, and in that instance's OctaneRender Network Preferences, choose the "release all" button. Once all nodes show up as "available," in the network render prefs, try your network render again.
