Hello all,

I am having an issue of rendering all takes to picture viewer in C4D, using a 980ti and a 1080. In octane viewer everything works fine, as soon as I send all takes to picture viewer C4D crashes straight away.
Also I got an ASUS Z170A, haven't found anything online which would say that it doesn't support double gpu's.

Is it only because of the 2 different GPU's?
Am I doing wrong in octane setting?

Tried using both card one without the other, worked completely fine.

Thanks for answers in advance.

Hey,

It crashes without any logs or reports I could check.
The scene itself has 73k polys with 2k textures and its not an animation.

Cheers.

if it works with one or the other cards and fails with both of them at the same time, for me it sounds like PSU failure. I can not say 100% sure, but from information that is shared I would suggests to check Your PSU.

Keep open and output visible in your Console window. And post a screen shot from crash moment
