Agreed! this has been one of biggest desires to have in Octane for a long time.

This function is really important to control maps and mix materials accurately.

Have you tried to use a Gradient node in between?
The effect is the same, only with a different representation.

give us a curve and that's it)
what is now done is not convenient
why invent a wheel again?

I'm aware it is the same effect as a gradient however have you seem how a gradient that accurately represents a falloff curve looks? it's not doable.

+1 from me on this one. Falloff curves are just way easier to control than gradients for certain "advanced" stuff imho. :)

+1 for this, i would also love to have a fresnel gradient base on IOR value.
