send an email to [email protected], you'll have to do some troubleshooting but it's probably a driver combo issue.Hydra wrote:I'm currently getting an error with Octane plugin 3.8.5.39. I have 2 GTX 980s (I dedicate the secondary for rendering, and the Primary is normal PC operation). I have nVidia driver rev 436.30, and my PC is Windows 7 64 bit. Daz is 4.11.0.383 Pro 64 bit.
Is there something I'm missing with my set up? I haven't Octaned in a while, and I'm using the latest windows 7 patches.

I just upgraded to version 4... and everything seems happy.
I want to say that I find this upgrade and licensing very confusing.

so from here, you can either continue using octane v4 or you can pay an annual $199 to use Octane 2018/2019 which are newer. Or you can wait a bit as there will be more licensing options available soon.Hydra wrote:I just upgraded to version 4... and everything seems happy.

Hi. I don't think Octane 3 will work with the latest NVidia drivers. So you will need to backdate your Nvidia drivers, or upgrade to the latest Octane version.16:11:45.246: +++++ Plugin running.
