Hi, I encountered a weird trouble with Pre2.3 v5 : Each time I attempt to change an Alphaimage (png with alpha) texture, Octane freezes when loading the texture.
After two trials generally (I mean two attempts to restart Octane and load the ocs file), it is no more possible to load the obj (clicking on the mesh node has no effect), even if I try with other versions of Octane, including 2.2 ! The bug in 2.3 seems to lock the GPUs).
Then reboot is required but the computer freezes and refuses to restart using the restart choice of Windows menu (and the Cubix box doesn't stop). I have to press the ON/Reboot button for 6 seconds to switch off, and press again to restart the whole thing (Computer and Cubix).
I must add that both GPUs usage remains 99% even after closing Octane, until complete manual reboot of computer and Cubix !
I have tried to select floatimage instead of Alphaimage without more success.
The scene is a simple scene with only one gound plane and small billboards images in png with alpha of grass blades with transparency. When loading correctly, the memory amount used is only 38 MB on 1.5GB.
The Alphaimage I tried to load to replace the grass is bigger than the grass image: a 3.1MB png tree image with alpha (I tried to make a forrest instead of a grass field).
Crash requiring reboot when changing Alphaimage

Thanks for the links !
I also noticed that setting the gamma slider to a high value for the opacity texture leads to a crash.
