Hello Paul,

Since my update to Modo v13.1, when I scrub through the timeline Modo/Octane doesn't update animated objects
in the OctaneRender Viewport anymore. Camera Motion Blur, Object Motion Blur and Don't Reload Mesh Objects are
turned on. Only refreshing the viewport updates it. Also, for example, turning on or off Alpha Channel in the Octane Kernel
updates it for that one frame and also the following frame I'm scrubbing to. After that it stops updating again.

I'm using:

Modo v13.1
OctaneRender for Modo 4.04.0.145
Windows 10
Amount of Ram: 64 GB
Graphics Card 2x Nvidia GeForce GTX1080 8GB
Nvidia driver version 431.70

Any ideas on what's going on?

Hi Bob. Foundry changed the way timeline scrubs were reported to plugins in Modo13.1. To resolve this, you need a plugin version *.*.*.149 or later. Because it looks like you have an Octane V4 Regular license, I would suggest version 2019.1.0.149 from viewtopic.php?f=34&t=71990. This version is quite stable, although you might have trouble loading scene into the Octane 4 version of the plugin after than have been saved with the Octane 2019 version of the plugin (as it's not something that I have tested).

I have the latest plugin, but have also issues with this. If a mesh is instanced both the mesh and the instance won't update

Hi - on the Mesh that is instanced, tick Reload Mesh Each Frame.

Hi Paul, that does work, but it also kills the motionblur. Also it adds a lot of rendertime if its a heavy mesh. Is it possible to change this behavior?

I'm having a bigger project at the moment which relied heavily on instances. I had to replace all of them with replicators because the reloadtimes where so bad. It would be really great if this could be improved

Can you please send me the scene so I can get a better understanding of the issue.

Thanks
