Checking in on the status of supporting instanced geo from files using the instancefile parameter? I think there's only one old post from a few years ago saying it would be in-progress but haven't been able to locate any documentation or further discussion around it?

This feature is not available yet but it is a planned feature to be included in the plugin in the short term, now that we have all the code to import and render .orbx files in place.

Not yet, but I want to work on it along this Octane 2019.x cycle, if possible, alongside the new Qt5 IPR window.
