2 things:
1) i am doing some bats that flies at super speed. So i need a really precise motion blur to match a shot done in an Arri Alexa camera.
and i am having troubles with the motion blur to make those curved cool motion blurs streaks... as i found out that for vertex motion blur (i have a skinned bat) the limit of steps is 2.. so an almost linear mb.. like a velocity motion blur in post.
Is there a way to have more steps? Will that be improved soon?
2) I can't figure out motion blur duration and shutter time... how those work based on reality..
What should i put in shutter time for a 24 fps 1/48th shot? => shutter time: 48? because the bigger the numer the blurier and in real life is the opossite.. 1/100 is sharper than 1/48 or 1/30
And motion blur duration should be in 1?
I really looove octane.. and now i am trying to do all in octane.. but this motion blur things is a limitation...
i also have to build a stork for a movie and i started in octane.. but if i cant get the motion blur properly i will have to swith to another..

kind regards
