render resolution with 768mb card

Yes, the rendered image at this size will require ~80mb, so there's a lot of space for meshes and textures left.
The limitation in Octane is currently at 8k*8k, however you would need more memory for that.

Well, I used a sample scene at 2560*1600 and looked up the used memory in Octane: Account Preferences > Cuda Devices:
RenderTarget film 82mb
Windows 7 x64 | 8800GTS 512 & 8400GS | Q6600 | 8GB

No, I use two cards, because I have 3 monitors; This setup unfortunately doesn't improve the interface speed.

I can't say how long it takes, it depends too much on the scene. However you can use the demo and extrapolate it, because the Sample/sec speed doesn't change with the resolution. (note that the current version doesn't produce as many fireflies as the old demo)
Otherwise you can also check the gallery, sometimes the rendering time is posted.
