Hi,
When I launch a rendered anmation via the F9/F10 keys, it crashes every 15 frames, I use FiberFX to generate the fur, motion blur is active at 33% and it works well because I haven't any deformation on the base mesh. I've 14m tris for the fur...I'm in Full Update Scene mode, my Octane is 4.05 with LW2015.3 W10 (1903), and I use the Octane Network Renderer with 2 RTX 2080 and 2 TitanX.
Octane crashes every 15 frames when applying denoising, the denoising stay to 0% and the image isn't saved and Lightwave is crashed.
I think it's probably an issue related to FiberFX...
Any idea ?
Thanks.

Hi,
Hmm, if Octane crashes while denoising, it sounds like a problem to allocate enough GPU memory for denoising or something like that, probably due to the large number of fibers. Can you please enable the log file in the plugin options panel and attach here the log that you get after one of these crashes? Also, do you know if you have the same problem without the network rendering? ... I wonder if the crash could come from the render nodes.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

I'll test it today without nework rendering and I'll attach you the log file.
Thanks for your quick reply.
Octane log with network rendering...
So, I've tried to relaunch my render without the octane network rendering and the result is the same...It crashes every 12 or 15 frames.

Octane's log without the network rendering...
I'll try a next render without denoiser process, if it crashes again, I'll post the log as usual.
Thanks !

Hi Juan,
When I desactivate the denoiser, the render doesn't crash anymore.
As you said before, the denoiser seems to be the cause of the issue.
Do you think it's a correctable error or a possible workaround exists ?
Thanks.

My actual setup is already like this.
My 2080 does the denoising job, my second card (TitanX Maxwell) is set only for tonemapping.
It sounds like the denoiser frame buffer (or something like that) isn't cleared correctly on each frames and it causes a crash every 12 or 13 frames by accumulation of datas...
