Yes, sorry, unfortunately, the plugin development must continue at the same time that new Octane features and versions are added, so at the end the .orbx proxy support was finished while working in the 2018.1 plugin branch, making very difficult revert it back to the old 4.0x code branch due to the large number of changes made in the plugin core code.

The 4.04 subscription plugin builds have been updated to support network rendering. The new build number for these builds is 4.04.0.1

I try LW 2019 and Octane 4.04.0.0 .... can anyone advise me how to view the Surface Preview in Layout?
Whether I use Floating Window Preview or Viewport, I only get a black screen. Octane IPR runs normally. But I need some quick insight when creating and editing the surface.

You are supposed to use ipr, it won't work in anything else.
