Hi, i tried to search the forums before i post this, i couldnt see it but if i miss it, please let me know under which post i can find out more information on this. . Basically i am having trouble saving the images in high resolution, as well as in jpg.. also does it always saves as 72 resolution?
That should not be the case. I render and save all my images in 4K (3840x2160) resolution. As long as the dimensions are set properly in the Octane Render Settings tab when you save the image, it saves at full resolution. Yes it has only PNG option. No JPEG. OpenEXR you can ignore.
By 72 if you mean 72 DPI, then yes, DPI wise it is always 72. You can change that in Photoshop or other image editors easily. Does not change the physical pixel dimension of the image.
