Hi, is possible work with octane on iMac's, MacbookPro's or Other machines with AMD Radeon graphics.
My question is because we (Our Studio) wait months for the new release and features.

OCTANE for AMD Radeon Graphic Cards
Pascal ANDRE
Hi I read the above link, but I'm still confused. Is there any way to get Octane on my MBP with a AMD card? I read that new builds should support this, but I dont know where to find them. Ideally I'd love Octane to integrate with C4d on my Mac. Thanks kindly,
No, there is no publicly available build that runs on AMD. As he says, while they have an AMD compatible 3.0 running in-house, there's nothing else they can do until AMD releases updated drivers for the public.Hi I read the above link, but I'm still confused. We do have a plan for AMD cards on MacOS, we'll have some updates once we get the next release out with the denoiser.

I also would like to have an ability to use Octane with AMD card on MacBook Pro, I have tried it's native ProRender engine, but for this moment it crashes too frequently. I believe, that the quality of Octane will be available for mac users in future. Waiting for release.
I have been testing headless rendering coming in 2019.2 on my Macbook (intel GPU) and it works surprisingly well over WiFi. This is the first piece of shipping Octane code working on Metal, so we're making progress.

Since Nvidia apparently is not willing/able to develop drivers for Mojave I'm still stuck on High Sierra and my two GTX 1070s.
This is fine for the moment but longer term I need a solution for this. Headless sounds interesting. What exactly would that
entail? Windows Box with GPUs and then rendering over network?
And doesn't this (https://home.otoy.com/octane-x-wwdc2019/) announcement mean that Metal rendering is coming to Octane?
