Okay, this is starting to really annoy me.

How is it I can create a perfect atmoshpere in Octane for Cinema 4D with volume medium and when I try to create the exact same thing in Octane for Lightwave I get a critical error and Lightwave crashes. Is this just another example of features not working in lightwave???

Hi,

It should work like in C4D. Can you send me the scene to try to reproduce this problem here?

Thanks,

I've packaged the scene up for you, I have deliberately left the atmosphere with a standard material applied, I want to see how you approach this/

I'll try to take a look at your scene. I suppose that you need to use a volumetric sphere to build the atmosphere if you want to use this workflow, but first, please check your scene scale ... to me it is too big, and this can be a problem for Octane and the volumetrics. While your grid size is 10 km, in the C4D screenshot the grid size is 10 cm.

Thanks,
-Juanjo

Oh that's not the physical grid size, that's just my scale for moving objects.

Makes no difference the grid size, volume object still doesn't show up and I have literally copied the settings from the C4d version

What an absolute joke!

If someone tells me one more time that volume in Octane for Lightwave isn't broken I am going to scream!
