I’ve noticed that bitmap resolution is low in viewports using octane mats and seems to max out even if I adjust the max resolution within Max. However, going back to standard mats respects the increase in max texture resolution.
The only reason I increase resolution is because I often work with very large plans (especially siteplans/landscaping) that I need to see finer details, but then afterwards I revert back for reasons of performance.
Is there any way to increase octane resolution quality within the viewports or provide an override checkbox for them?

Hello lunarstudio,
you would increase the material preview in render setting (Kernel tab) and in 3dsMax viewport configuration (display performance tab).
After changing it, check/uncheck the show shaded material icon.
