hi, I'm desperate for a solution to this: the octane render camera appears to be TILTED in comparison to the maya viewport. There's no pan applied (intentionally).
I tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to solve the problem.
This happens both in IPR and in batch render, ONLY with octane. Maya Hardware is working properly.

What I've tried:
- different cameras: not working. I tried new maya cameras, new octane cameras, new scene + new camera.
- imager options, doesn't work. With a brand new imager, the problem persists
- post processor options, couldn't find any related attribute
- camera options of maya: there's a 'pan' attribute, but it doesn't seem to work. anyway it does not affect my render
- viewport options: couldn't find any useful attribute, everything is set to default options

Camera settings, if useful, are usual, but the focal lenght is super zoomed because i need an effect similar to the ortographic view. So focal lenght is 230 and Angle of View is 6.32, camera scale 1.

Hi Pandora,

Thank you for the post.

Which version of Octane for Maya are you running in your workstation? Could you please share or PM us the scene? The models can be replaced with a default primitive.

Cheers
Kind Regards

Hi BK!
Sorry, I really can't share the scene, I'll do what I can to give you all the information needed.
I'm using Maya 2018 with Octane 4.04

(FYI, I've confirmed that the problem happens only with OC. Maya Hardware & software render the correct view)

Hi Pandora,

Thanks for the reply.
Sorry, few more questions.. what's the Maya 2018 update and the Nvidia version?
Not sure if anyone having the similar issue.
Could you please check the GPU temperature?

Cheers
Kind Regards

Hi, no problem!
maya 2018 update 6. We installed the latest NVIDIA drivers.
GPU temperature is normal, around 70-80 degrees.
We have never had any similar problem, only with this scene.
Again, sorry but I can't send it to you.
We have worked around the problem by creating and tweaking a little bit a new ortographic camera, which seems to work just fine

Hi Pandora,

Thank you so much for the info!! Glad to hear the workaround solve the issue.
We would try to replicate this again on Maya 2018 update 6.

Cheers
