I played around with he sample file for OSL Shaders for volume textures. Can anyone provide more detailed info or a tutorial on how to control these better. Say I only wanted to use a mix of three colors. How could I do that? And how does one set which colors to use (say in my three colors I only wanted red, blue, and pink).

Hi,
in 2019, you can use any kind of texture with Volumes, even ImageTexture nodes: ciao Beppe

Thanks Beppe. From the sample ORBX provided as a demo it wasn't immediately clear to me that the new functionality wasn't dependent on OSL shaders alone.
