Hi all,

I used C4D's volume builder + volume mesher to fix some neuron meshes from our lab. They render out fine in preview but when I go to actually render it totally changes the location of the blue neuron. When I import the original meshes they render fine, so it's definitely an issue with VB/VM. Anyone know what render settings I should change to fix?

Screenshot from preview window:

Here is a link to the project file https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UIZXU ... 1SiX2bO3xB, which includes both the remeshed and original meshes in case it's helpful.

Thanks for your help! I'm new to C4D so pardon if this is a really obvious solution.

Hi Amy,
if I have correctly understood your issue, you have the Auto Focus option enabled in your Octane Camera, so, if the center of the image is empty, the focus point changes, and the DOF effect is completely different:

You need to disable the auto focus option, and you can use a null object in the Focus object field of the c4d Camera to have a better control of the focus point, or use the proper icon in Live View to fix it interactive in real time.
ciao Beppe
