I downloaded the Octane Demo Version and added it to my plugins folder etc, all that stuff, I deleted all the others except R19 (I use C4D R19) and I open up C4D and it shows "Octane" at the top like the usual
BUT, whenever you go to click on Octane there's no dropdown, I've had this issue for about 4 days now and I could not understand how to fix it.

Hi,
you need to update your Maxon C4D copy to the latest build, (R16.050, R17.053, R18.057, R19.053, R20.057), or the plugin will not be correctly loaded.
Please go to c4d menu Help/Check for updates.
