Renderosity just acquired the Poser software from Smith Micro. Wondering if / how that might effect the Octane plugin?

Interesting news. Thanks for the heads up.
I hope that something good will go along with it :) .. plugin wise, I have no doubts. I just hope the host software itself will grow again.

I have Poser 10 but its not installed for many years as I don't use it but have been considering a new dive in - especially now that I can use it with Octane. Current sale on Renderosity says I can update to Poser Pro 11 for just $99 - so maybe I will take the plunge.

Well there's one thing that I'm sure of, renderosity will put alot more effort into innovating more, and creating better base models! :)

I can guarantee you that the folks at RMP care more about Poser than Smith Micro does. And if you have any suggestions, lemme know, I will pass them along. :D
