2018 has had a couple builds now is it stable?
As I'm still on version 4 is there a benefit to me upgrading?
Is 2018 a lot faster? I have a big project that I need to render out so if 2018 is faster and stable I should properly upgrade.
So if I upgrade to enterprise I get a permanent license for modo and can use any other plugin as long as I'm current.
Is that correct?
Thanks
Keith
on ver 4 should I upgrade?

Hi Keith
Yes, the 2018 is stable, and a 2019 build will be available shortly which contains a number of features to speed up rendering, so I think it is worth upgrading.
Thanks
Paul

hi face off,
if you dont mind me jumping into this thread as a c4d user, i have to ask which precisely aspects will be improved upon? and when will 2019.1 drop?
i was thrawling the forums but its difficult finding answers.
all in all, to whom it may concern, my experience with 2018.1.3 is really extremely underwhelming.
i bought into the sub, despite the confusing rollout, mostly because i got errors with the older version and had to infact upgrade to finish the job.
the volumetric speed that i see boasted about is nonexistant in my case.
the vectron is a) gimmick at this point b) unstable gimmick at that.
spectron is from all ive seen limited to spotlight?
i do get less crashes but that is about it.
infact let me go and vent somewhere else.
cheers,
