OK, I'm stumped. I have a field of corn that is supposed to be swaying in the wind. The field is created with a cloner. I have 4 different corn stalk treatments that the cloner is using randomly. I have tried several different methods to get a believable sway (that's another story, as cloners are tricky), but several methods have yielded good results in the UI -- but not when rendered in Octane. The stalks do not move at all. No matter what I try, I cannot get them to sway. As soon as I pull them from the cloner, then they move, but I need many, so individual placement is not an option.
Is this a known issue? I have set the Octane object tag to force updates on every frame, but that also fails. I have geometry control in Render Settings set to All Objects Movable.
Any ideas?
Octane and animated clones?

If you haven't already, you might try adding the Octane tag with appropriate Motion Blur setting to each source piece of cloned geometry, not just the cloner or top level of the hierarchy. I've had issues with nested elements not blurring that way.

hey Jay did you get your problem fixed because i'm having the same problem?
I don't believe so. It's been so long now I can't recall, though I would have put the solution here for all to read.
