In this sample scene Octane materials are invisible in Cinema OGL viewport and they not updating in octane Live Viewer but in standard Cinema renderer.
There is cloner with three objects - two of them have octane materials, one of them standard Cinema material - three different colors.
Only one object is visible at once. These objects change randomly by moving cloner with shader attached to it.
Changes are visible only in OGL and Cinema previewer, renderer - not in Octane. Objects with Octane materials are invisible in OGL viewport.
Octane materials invisible in OGL, not updating in LV

Here is better example :
Octane doesn't update materials changes by cloner shader :

Octane materials are invisible in OGL viewport ( the white one is standard Cinema material ) :

Updated scene in attachment. Please move null to trigger cloner changes.

Keep the settings as default.
Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

Right, problem with OGL visibility was caused by "alpha for OGL previews" and "use Octane for OGL previews" but problem with random color instances generated by cloner and shader effector still exist when cloner instance mode is set to multi-instance. When it is set to instance, Octane shows proper color instances.aoktar wrote:Keep the settings as default.

Hi,
with Render Instance, or Multi Instance, you need to use these nodes:
