Any of you guys know the best way to re-create this material in Octane ?

I was thinking a blend material between sss and plastic for the interwoven strands

I'm not so worried about the the plastic piping and rim as they can be modelled - nor do I need the hair-like strands at the edges.

Any ideas would be appreciated :)
