Feature Request - Handles On Render Region

I find the render region very clunky. Often I need to to change the shape slightly and it doesn't work, it won't let me redraw the rectangle unless I close the Live Viewer then reopen, and then redraw the render region.

I also find once a render region is defined, I can't pan around in the live viewer and keep the render region.

Could handles be added to the render region to make resizing easier? Just about every other render engine has them.
