I have built some labels for bottles, using complex blend materials with:

black and white image files to define masks
octane noise with uv transform and texture projection to define bump textures, with different colour correction nodes piped to different materials
black and white image map to define displacement in some areas of label

I need to scale the entire label down to fit the bottle, by a large amount - 1% of original size. Normally this works fine, but on this job, the Octane materials aren't scaling properly - the image masks are scaling correctly, but the noises I've used for bump maps and the displacement values aren't scaling right. Also a metallic foil I've defined has vanished.

I need to scale objects all the time like this - how can I get Octane to scale everything properly in proportion?

Can you place it on an object that permits full size material and scale the object to fit your target?

Sorry not sure what you mean?

If you can share a simplified example scene demonstrating the problem, you might get some better feedback.

I can't share the scene - NDA on renders

Attached is a grab of the label material node tree - this is applied to a label, using UVW projection

I modelled the label way to big in a separate c4d document, and had to copy and paste it into the document with my bottle mesh and lighting etc.

I then used the model tool and then in the co-ordinates window I chose scale and typed in a scale value for the label, I normally have to do several scales to get the size just right. I do this all the time and never normally have any problems.

For some reason though, while the Octane Material is scaling correctly overall, i.e. the label still looks much the same, the Octane noise I used for my bump maps and the displacement aren't scaling correctly.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but I didn't say, "share the scene", I said, "share a simplified example scene demonstrating the problem". Quite often, the process of simplifying the problem for yourself or for others reveals its own solution.

What's the simplest material you can build that behaves this way in a completely stripped down, minimal scene? Words can be easily misinterpreted, and we all make various assumptions in our workflows that we forget to communicate. A tangible example scene cuts through all that ambiguity and makes troubleshooting much, much easier.

Part of your problem is the C4D noise. But what I suggested was to make a patch of polygons to hold the texture as you want it and then scale the 'patch' to fit your 'bottle' or whatever.

It's not a c4d noise it's a native octane noise.
