Always wanted to create a cloudscape.

The clouds were modeled in Houdini and exported as vdb files. The scene was built and rendered in Octane 4 RC1. GTX 1080

Superbe. Never tried vdb before, what kind of material did you use?

Glad you liked the image. :)

The shader is fairly simple. It’s a volume shader with a ramp for absorption color. I’m going to make a small making of video. I’ll post it here in case anyone is interested.
