Hello,

How can I map my octane texture (gradient image texture) so it is mapped along the length of a spline, when I have a spline object and an octane object tag with render hair enabled?

I tried messing with UV and Projection but I can't seem to get it to work..

Thanks!

Octane "W coordinate" as a texture input of an Octane "Gradient node" should do the job.

Ah awesome thank you! I didn't know about this node!

Is it possible to do a shift along this UV? like offset an image texture? I'm not sure I understand how the hair render system works and what kind of geometry / UV mapping it uses
