Yep happens to me as well.It only happens though when you go down to 0.000 .If you take it down to 0.001 then everything is ok.Oh and it locks up the whole computer,not just crashes Octane.See Screen capture for my Config.

Same here.

Like Jaberwocky I can go to 0.001 with no problems, but Octane locks and exits if I go down to 0.00 - OS doesn't lock up for me.

I can send my scene file if you like...
I had that issue before, but now it doesn't break at zero opacity.. and I softmoded myself a 8800gtx into fx 4600 and they both work fine (to my surprise) with the drivers nvidia site offered me..
so with gtx480 and softmoded fx 4600 I am using the driver version 259.57, works OK with my setup

Also crashes when setting gamma slider to high value for the opacity texture.

Other problem that may be connected, here :

I am not on my workstation so I can't add my driver settings rightnow. I will add it when possible.
