This may seem strange, but has anyone had any issues with too many lights in a scene affecting displacement? I don't usually use a ton of lights, but if I have only two (and the obligatory LW light) the displacement on an object works fine. If I add or clone one light the object disappears (not just displacement off, but object is completely gone).

Any one run into this?

thanks!

For me displacement is not working if shape opacity of a light is set to 0%, set it to 100% and it should work.

Thanks Boris, I do have the shape opacity set to 0, but strangely enough, I added some instances to other unrelated geometry and the problem resolved. Was really weird...Don't know what I can even say that fixed it. Was an immediate fix too.

Thanks, I look at that next time and see if there is an issue.

thanks!
