Hi Jimstar.
That's what happens. Maya slows down a lot when the power attribute is animated. If the keyframes are deleted, Maya returns to the expected speed.
The effect is multiplied by the number of animated emitters.
I can't upload files to the forum. When I try it, a CAPTCHA will appear and once executed it will return to the message screen without the added file.
Here is a link to the file in wetransfer

Sorry for my low level of English.
OctaneRender for Maya 2018.1-14.24 [OBSOLETE]

Thank you for the scene. Don't worry, your English is clearly understandable.
I can see what is your issue. This is the expected behavior: when you change the current state of the scene (scrolling the timeline for example), Octane re-renders the materials/textures-previews and swatches in background. The more complex the material data is - the more time it takes for Octane engine to do this after every change. You can speedup the responsiveness of your scene by disabling the previews generation (maybe even swatches generation), setting the "quality" parameters for them to "0". Try with "Textures quality" only first, if it will be not enough for the complex scene - disable the swatches rendering too.
Octane rendering-engine team already has plans to improve the efficiency of previews-generation in later versions, so this should get better after that...
