Hello,
I am currently learning Octane and a weird thing is happening. Whenever i click on the Node editor button to see how the material is put together instead of opening the Node editor, the button simply dissapears. I can open the node editor by going into the menu but the dedicated button in the material does not work. I attached the material window how it looks before and after I hit the Node editor button.
The only thing that has changed since yesterday when everything was working that today I purchased and installed X-particles.
I am running 2018.1-R3 on Cinema 4d R20.059
OSX 10.13.6
Nvidia WebDriver 387.10.10.10.40.105
Cuda Driver 410.130
Nvidia GTX 1080 TI
eGPU Aikitia Node
I hope someone can shed a light on this issue
Thank You
Piotr Janowski

I'm curious how it happens! Please send me "res" folder under from C4D/plugins/c4doctane folder!

I reinstalled the plugin and the standalone version and now it is working correctly but everytime I try to use a material downloaded from the LiveDB Manager C4D freezes.

Could you try to remove all plugins and octane and install it again for testing?

Yes. That is what I did.
I uninstalled everything including the Standalone version and installed the 4.02 version with the corresponding plugin and now it works.
Somehow the 2018 version does not behave stbale and correctly in my setup
