Last week I purchased a new system and transferred my license over to this one. For some reason Octane keeps crashing as soon as I hit render.

Im working with C4D R20, Octane v4.02.1 and ive tried multiple drivers (419.17, 419.67 and even older ones).
I also tried with R19 and v4.01.1, but same results unfortunately.

I'm using 1x 2080Ti

I can only send you the bugreport and console output because Octane crashes before I can change the settings to export a log file. Cinema4D works fine until I open anything from octane (live viewer or even settings) and after about 10 seconds it crashes. I think the console output has the information needed to fix it but can't seem to find a solution myself. There is no actual pop-up screen when it crashes, it just freezes c4d.

Can you check that by installing the standalone? Run it and try to render somethings.

The standalone works fine so I guess it's really just a problem with the plugin.

You'll see a pluginID collision. Check your installation

I saw the pluginID collision aswell, but what could be causing the collision? You can't really do anything wrong with the installation right? It's just dropping the octane folder in the c4d plugins folder.
I've installed it like 25 times already and it's always the same.

There should be the same plugin files in another location. Also, don't forget to delete unnecessary plugin files as wrote in install notes.

Fixed it somehow by reinstalling everything and putting some folders in different places.
Thank you!
