Hi I'm using R20.057 and 4.01.1-R2 and whenever I am using toon shaders and play around with selecting colors for my diffuse and specular ramps, I get an infinite spinning circle, followed by a hard crash...this happened in R18 as well. I tried upgrading to 4.02.1-R3 and the problem persists. I even tried downgrading to a later version of NVIDIA drivers. I'm currently using 388.13 after the problem persisted on the newest versions of 419.xx.
It doesn't always happen right away, but for some reason when I move the sliders I get this type of crash.
Attached is the bug report.
Octane 4.01.1-R2 & 4.02.1-R3 crashing when selecting color.

What you mean that's happening in a specific case? What's hard crash?

So lets say I open up the application, make a toon shader, create a diffuse ramp, start playing with my sliders and picking colors using the HSV value, it won't crash right away, but lets say I start changing my colors more, after I've had the application open for about 10 minutes, then it will crash.
When it crashes, my cursor turns into the Blue circle that infinitely spins. If I wait long enough, the application will eventually just close without any warning or the octane crash popup. If I go into task manager, it says program not responding...

I've attached it.
I was having problems with the scrolling on my tablet, so I thought it may have been something along those lines? I fixed my tablet though so I don't think that would be it?

So I've switched back to a mouse, and my problem has vanished......right now I'm using a wacom intuos 5 pro with the newest tablet driver...could that really be what's causing this?

Any word on this? Everything has been running smoothly with the mouse and I just tried using my wacom tablet again and it crashed right away...
