I found that vertex map didnt work with displacement as a method of mixing materials.
Is there a workaround for using the vertex map as a material mixer and displacement?

Thx

I don't understand what you mean exactly here. You can use vertex map for mixing materials. But it will not work with displacement.

I'm curious about a workaround that would let me use displacement, any ideas?

Hi,
from 2019/2020, we have a new Vertex Displacement node:
http://www.aoktar.com/octane/VertexDisplacement.html
and Vertwx Displacement Mixer node:
http://www.aoktar.com/octane/VertexDisp ... Mixer.html
They can be used with both procedural and image texture nodes, they work by subdividing the geometry, and are removing all the limitations of the classic Octane Displacement node based on voxel.

ciao Beppe
