Hi. Radiance, when I set gamma other than 1.0 is it possible to "correct" the colors in color pickers as well according the new gamma? I have a lots of troubles to pick the "right" color after I set gamma 2.2 in preview imager.
There is a fix for this in 3dsmax.. when I set gamma 2.2 I can apply it to color picker and materials. Is it possible to be done in Octane ? I found it very hard to work that way..

Thanks...

gamma 2.2 is only valid with no camera response curve, if you use the default agfa or any other measured response curve, the gamma needs to be the default 1.0 to make the response curve correct...

does that answer your question?

Yes Radiance, I know about that , but I need a gamma corrected colours. The only solution that work so far is to render a Vray colour out of 3dsmax as a texture, then I get the right colours, but so is losing interactivity.. Can you add a gamma float node for RGBscpectrum, as in image float?
I think this will fix the issue with colours even if you add correction curve..
