You know, you can spend it all on fixing bugs,
slowly and methodically...
playing it safe,
just dealing with small scale flutters from your already existing customer base...
OR!
You get RICH $$$$$$
attracting NEW customers
because your product RAZZLES and DAZZLES in the most FABULICIOUS manner EVER.
OTOY - Let us ALL bask in your glory...Give us the Glow so that we may further shine Octane's RAW POWER
and glTF too

Really, shit dude, you should definitely pack in 3D rendering (or whatever you actually do) and start as a stand-up comedian as I now realise what you said is comedy gold, manFrankPooleFloating wrote:Meant to.. you know, to be funny. Sorry that slipped past you.

Goldorak, is the supersampling-upscaling thing coming in XB2, or can we turn it on already, just wasn't sure.Goldorak wrote:...anime kernel is coming, it wasn’t intentionally left out.
In the video it was right before the 2019.2 sequence started.

It will be in there as an experimental feature, initially exposed as a global WIP one-click override for 2x/4x sub-sampling mode. It may not be as polished as we like until RC1, where it should be exposed in the main denoiser imager settings.Notiusweb wrote:Goldorak, is the supersampling-upscaling thing coming in XB2, or can we turn it on already, just wasn't sure.Goldorak wrote:...anime kernel is coming, it wasn’t intentionally left out.

I don't suppose there is any indication of which version is currently targeted for the anime kernel to be released on is there? I know nobody really wants to have to give time estimates, I'm just wondering if it will be available in the next release or not as if it is I might actually hold off on a personal project I was going to do via other means.Goldorak wrote:...anime kernel is coming, it wasn’t intentionally left out.
Thanks

oh no need to be such a bore.Despot wrote:Should this not be in the Off Topic sub-forum ?divasoft wrote:So, Maxson buys redshift. I do not envy you, guys)
What relevance does it have to experimental Octane builds ?
That CRAZY Nvidia driver is out...
the one that runs DXR on 1060 Ti Pascals and up...
Is Octane 2019 compatible? Or no?
