I don't know if this is an issue for the plug in itself or Octane. Reeper creates ropes, etc. from splines (essentially a replacement for Sweep in certain circumstances). It is free, and you can google it for the download location. It is cool and seems to be popular. However, when I animate with it (typically as part of a dynamics sim, for obvious reasons) it won't motion blur properly when using transform/vertex motion blur on the Octane Object tag.
Is this a known issue and am I missing a step, or a bug/limitation? I assume it is something to do with the fact that it is a plug in, as sweep generated objects do motion blur properly.
Reeper plug in doesn't motion blur properly...

Hi Jayroth. I don't know this plugin. And we don't have to support everythings in universe. Plugin support motion blur with splines.

Understood, aoktar. I realize that there are so many to deal with. Here is the link to it, FYI:

Perhaps the dev can do something on his/her end to get the proper results. In the meantime, I guess I will have to wait for vertex motion blur support for displacements to be added to the plug in.
