Cinema 4D version 2018.1-R3(obsoletestable) - 29.03.2019

With this version I seem to be unable to render with all four of my GPUs, I'm only able to render with two of them - I have the subscription.

When checking the boxes in the settings on my third and fourth GPU, nothing seems to happen, and when re-opening the settings dialogue again, they remain unchecked.

4x NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
Windows 10 Pro 10.0.17763
Cinema 4D R20.059 Studio
Intel Xeon W-2125 @4.00GHz
128 GB RAM

Hi,
from 2018, Studio versions are limited to 2x GPUs, withot Network Rendering feature.
You need to go back to v4 for 4x GPUs, or switch your Studio license into an Enterprise AA license.

One question: why did the region render behavior change since v4 or so? It used to add render samples to the main render but now it restarts at every new region set. Stand alone has never changed this behavior.

I need to check. Plugins can be different due different environment and workflow of host software.

Have you correctly installed it?

I'm still having no luck with 2018. V4 works fine. 2018 freezes up regularly. I can work maybe ten minutes on the simplest thing and I will get a spinning beachball when Octane tries to update materials or it will often say "Octane: checking others time: xx.xx..."
As was said before, it seems I always have problems.
I wonder if it's because I have an older mac using Nvidia cards with CUDA drivers?
Here's my setup:

Mac Pro 2010
OSX 10.13.6
36 GB RAM
2x Nvidia Geforce Titan X 2mb
CUDA driver version 410.130 (GPU driver version 387.10.10.10.40.113)
C4D R20

Any thoughts?
