Octane license (UNITY) activation result: Cancelled

There was another thread here but since I posted on that one already and didn't get any solutions, I'll post one specifically for my issue

I keey getting "Octane license (UNITY) activation result: Cancelled" and "could not activate" errors. I've tried your solution to log out then in inside unity, doesn't do anything. I've tried linking my unity to an octane account, and then signing into that, worked once and now 1 or 2 days later, doesn't work again (as does creating a new unity account, it works for a bit and then at one point, doesn't). I tried resetting my license/activation on the website, that also didn't help.
Initially I thought it might be because I sometimes run unity from my home computer, and it's a 1 pc at a time license, but I haven't opened unity from home in a while and I still have this problem.
I REALLY don't see why I have these kinds of problems, especially with a FREE license that has no reason to authenticate in the first place...
PLEASE give me some kind of solution, I've already lost hours trying to troubleshoot and it's very frustrating.

I'm having the same problem, just installed the Octane update in Unity and am now getting an error.

I have the same problem where it doesn't activate the license. (octane 1.2.0.1370)

But after downgrading the octane version to Octane 1.2.0.1362 it does activate the license again.

Same problem with 2018.3 and newest Octane. I tried 2 Unity Accounts on two machines and both failed with the same error.

The main cause of this issue should be fixed. If this error still occurs when trying to log in with your unity account, make sure you are using the following settings:
