hi there
a view interior night render with 2.3 v5 and finally the fireflies are gone , absolute fantastic work octane team .
this release is a milestone . thanks for that good work .
this scenes have 6 different light emitters and rendertime was around 45min.

Nice renderings.

Very noisy... After 45 minutes of baking i would expect a rendering engine to produce much cleaner output.

about the noise ,your spot on . it schould be clean. but dont forget this is a beta software and MLT or how
ever it s name will be , is not implemented yet.

With regards to the first image As said above^^...

Yeah, within the lamp shade looking at it directly you see its over exposed on the inside to appear white from the intense light, yet in the picture on the wall behind it the reflection has nulled this exposure/ light emittance out? Is that accurate?

i think that's because i rendered with maxdepth 3 only ,so there is not enough light bounces ,i did that
to speed up pathtracing ,for proper images i would use maxdepth 16 .
these images are only to test the fireflies filter.

show me a 3 year old spectral renderer that does the same in 45 minutes against a 7 month old one...
just have bit of patience v6 is on it's way.
