Hey guys,
Quick one. Couldn't find an answer from the search function.
Context : I have a scene where my Octane Camera is within a car, pointing out the car's passenger window.
I have a folder, structured as so :
CAR (folder)
> Octane Camera
> CAR OBJ (folder)
I animate the top level "CAR" folder on its Z axis. It's moving quite fast on a highway.
I enable the Motion Blur on the Octane Camera.
Problem : The motion blur looks good, except that the car also has motion blur on it. Completely blurry. There should be 0 motion blur on it.
I have tried...
- Animating my environment instead. Problem : objects far away have the same motion blur as the objects up close, which is unrealistic.
- Adding an Octane Tag on my "CAR OBJ" folder and disabled the Motion Blur on that. Doesn't work.
- Putting my Octane Camera in another folder.
I feel like there should be a quick workaround to this, but I can't manage to find it.
Any insight is very much appreciated!
Thanks a ton.

Don't disable mblur on car object, this is more logical.

I mean you need to put object tag without disabling mblur. It's required for animated geometries.
