Hi guys
I have a question about alpha mask rendering in octane. The situation is that I have an object with transparent and non transparent surfaces. When I render this object out with alpha mask, the alpha mask will not take care of the transparency in this object. The mask is black and withe but not gray for the transparenzy. :-(
Is it possible in octane to render an alpha mask for transparent objects because I will compose it finaly in after effects to see the background though the transparent material.

Has anyone an idea?

Thanks Max

Hi,
it would be nice to have some screenshots, but from what you have said, try to enable the Material Opacity pass.

Hi,
please, use a Specular, or Universal material for the mid transparent object, and check that the Affect Alpha option is enabled.
Alternatively, you should be able to obtain a similar image with the Material passes/Opacity pass.
