Hi
My main PC has two cards in it and hasn't any room left for more so, I have two additional cards in an external case but, what is the best way to connect the external cards to the main PC?
The main PC is quite old and won't take Thunderbolt so I was thinking of using a Pcie extender cable from the motherboard but I'm not sure how that would connect two external GPU's.
I've been researching this for 2 weeks now but haven't arrived at a solution that fits my budget.
Thanks
N

Win 7, motherboard is and Asus Z9PE-D8 WS with 32Gb Ram and a Intel Core i7 4930K 3.40GHz processor - it's an old computer but runs perfectly. The current graphics cards are Geforce Gtx Titan X 11Gb and 2 Zotac Geforce Gtx 1080 Ti's 11Gb.
The Titan and one Zotac are in the computer at the moment but these can be moved about depending on the configuration of graphics cards that work. Budget would be about £500 mainly to connect the external enclosure to the main Pc. This isn't set in stone and I am considering all options so if you have suggestions, please let me know. Currently my issue is with the connection of the external cards to the main Pc.
Thanks for your help.

I've been extremely interested in figuring out an eGPU setup. I have a Dell 7710 Laptop so I can't even swap out the internal GPU. Would love to know how this gets solved.
