C4D freezes

Hello,

C4D freezes when I press "Send your Scene and Restart a new render" in the LV after inactivity of few minutes (read emails, or similar). I have to quit C4D via the Task Manager. That happens constantly. What could that be?

Please be more specific! Is it happening on every scenes?

Can`t say on every, but today it happens 6 times on a scene which I`m working on. I`ve saved the scene in a new empty one but got the same problem. I´ve got these Problem through all my projects last year. What also happens, and right now as I write this, I`ve send this scene to Picture Viewer to render the animation but it`s not starting, the time is running an there is only "Updating". This bug I´ve also on every Project with Octane. If I try to brake up the rendering, C4D freezes also.

I don't suppose it's a bug for Octane. Have you tried to render it with standard renderer?

Yes, it`s no problem.
I've only these kinds of problems since using Octane. Is there a log file running in the background?

Post the content of text or picture from this window when you see the problem. And send me your scene for testing.

I´ve send you a PM with data last days. Could you find an error? The plugin crashes more and more. I have the C4D log file. Makes it sence to send you that log file?

Here's problem about displacement in blend material. It's working well if you delete displacement.

The Displacement? Crazy. How did you find out? Is this a known weakness of octane?

Deleted some materials and tried until find where it gets stuck. A long process. Displacement with complex meshes are a pain, especially if you think our displacement is based runtime voxels.
