Hi
Was going to post this in commercial support but there is no post button there for me? Odd, these are commercial licenses.

Anyway, I was doing a bench today as I saw via Twitter there was a new version of OB out.
I tested, and the results were

OctaneBench 3.06.2: 359
OctaneBench 4.00: 438
OctaneBench 4.00b: 415

Why the drop from 4.00 to 4.00b?

Mac, 2 x1080Ti, OSX 10.12.4, driver 378.05.05.05f02.
(tried to go to 10.12.6 and 378.05.05.25f12 but had an install issue and had to revert, will try again soon)

As a side note versions of 4 after RC7 are still all highly unstable for me, it's getting to be a big problem.

Hi,
just tied under 10.12.6 with CUDA 387.178, and GPU drivers 378.05.05.25f12 with 2x 1070:
OctaneBench 4.00 = 262.75
OctaneBench 4.00b = 262.62
so roughly the same result.
Probably an issue with old cuda/drivers
ciao Beppe

Interesting, I really need to get these drivers up to date. I did make an attempt but something went wrong and I had to revert. Now in render mode for a project so I will try to update system in a few more days.
Good to know I can get back those few OB points!
Cheers
